Regular Season Round 8: Derby - Mornar 99-91

One of the most interesting games of round 8 was a derby match between two teams from Montenegro. The game took place in Podgorica where ninth rankedDerby won against visiting Mornar (1-7) 99-91 . Derby made 28-of-34 free shots (82.4 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was center Zoran Nikolic (212-1996) who scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Derby (4-4) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Mornar stay at the bottom position with seven games lost.
